Raymond M. Henningson Sr.

Raymond M. Henningson Sr., 77, of Brockton, passed away Feb. 15, 2025. Born in Boston, the son of the late George and Florence (Marks) Henningson, he graduated from Boston Technical High School and Northeastern University. Ray served honorably in the Air National Guard for 9 years. He worked as a project manager in computer engineering for Honeywell, Computervision, Digi, and lastly Prime Computer until retirement. Ray and his family were active parishioners of St. Colman/Christ the King Parish and he was a cantor there; he also enjoyed model trains. Ray was the beloved husband of Kathleen M. (Scanlon) Henningson for 56 years, loving father of Raymond “Matt” Henningson Jr. & his wife Tracey of Brockton and Jason A. Henningson & his wife Christine of Abington, grandfather of Meghan Mackin & her husband Ryan, Sean M. Henningson, and Claire Ivadean Henningson; brother of Marian Dunne & her husband Michael of Bridgewater, Gayle Swanson of Arizona, AnnMarie McLaughlin of Bridgewater and the late Roberta Munsell, and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Saturday, Feb. 22 at 9 a.m. followed by his funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., all at Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St. Brockton. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts, 1300 W. Elm St. Ext. Brockton MA 02301.
