Priscilla M. (Straight) Waitt, 94, a lifelong resident of Easton (Eastondale), passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Forrest R. and Emma F. (Weir) Straight. Priscilla was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School, formerly the Middle School of Lincoln Street.
Priscilla worked at Nabisco for over twenty-five years. After retiring from Nabisco, she went on to work as a bookkeeper at the family business, Straight Signs. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, pheasant hunting with her late husband Roger and their hunting dogs and attending her daughter’s horse shows. Most important to Priscilla was her family and she loved summering at the cottage in Pocasset.
Priscilla was the wife of the late Roger A. Waitt; beloved mother of Ronda Toomey of Walpole, Donna Waitt of Taunton, Nancy Riley of Easton, Lee-Ann Roney of Taunton, and the late William “Billy” Waitt; loving grandmother of Dylan Waitt, Chrisopher Riley, Thomas Riley, and Michael Roney; great-grandmother of Scarlett Riley; sister of the late Evelyn Andrews; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to memorial calling hours on Friday, April 19th from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private burial at Melrose Cemetery.
