Philip T. Manion, 75, of Brockton, a native of Southie, passed away on March 5, 2026. He was the son of the late William and Sophie (Chepulis) Manion. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran.
In his free time, he loved a good golf game with his golf buddies. After retiring from his career as a truck driver, he had a few different jobs, the last one being at Stop & Shop in Abington, where he made connections with quite a few people who he held near and dear to his heart. Family has always been a big factor throughout his life. He lived his life for his family and always made sure to tell everyone how proud he was.
Philip was the beloved husband of Charlene A. (Byrnes) Manion for 54 years; loving father of Scott J. Manion (and Michelle Cates) of Taunton, and Dawn M. Manion (and Phillip Lurie) of Lakeville; devoted grandfather of Brittney, Kaitlynn, Savannah, Phillip Jr. “P.J.”, and Benjamin Lurie, and Cameron Manion; brother of the late Stephen, Charles “Chico”, Paul, and Judith Manion, and Clara Fay Kucker; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours on Monday, March 16th from 4-7 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. time of remembrance at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal.
