Philima Buissereth, 92, recently of Port St. Lucie, Florida, formerly of Randolph, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2025. Born in Fonds des Blancs, Haiti, he was the son of the late Racine and Celine (Maignan) Buissereth.
Philima was the husband of the late Enide (Bernadel) Buissereth; beloved father of Nancy Buissereth and her husband Jules Guirand, Numa Buissereth and his wife Joanne Maignan, Claude Buissereth and his wife Christina Beltre, Magalie Buissereth, and Guiteau Buissereth; cherished grandfather of Melissa Guirand, Laura Guirand, Juleen Guirand, Galen Buissereth, Alen Buissereth, Guiteau Buissereth, Gabrielle Buissereth, Guiano Buissereth, Noah Buissereth, Alyssa Buissereth, Edouardo St. Hillaire, Emmanuel St. Hillaire, and Crismeilyn Cuevas; loving great-grandfather of Nazari St. Hilaire; dear brother of Esther Maignan, ELourdes Buissereth, Luce Buissereth, Dalbert Buissereth, Rose Buissereth Christophe, and the late Lederne Buissereth, Rosita Buissereth, and Antoinette Buissereth; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to his viewing on Saturday, September 27th from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Michael Church, 87 North Main St., Avon and burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Randolph. Live streaming of Philima's funeral Mass will be available.
