Pearl M. (Blanchard) Rakutis

Pearl M. (Blanchard) “Cissy” Rakutis, 95, recently of Falmouth, passed away Feb. 21, 2021. She was formerly of Avon for most of her life and of High Pond Estates in Bridgewater for several years. Native of Avon, she summered in Rutland MA and graduated from Avon High School. Cissy attended International Institute of Cosmetology in Brockton and was self-employed as a hairstylist at 3B’s in the Campello section of Brockton. She was a member of the former Brookville Grange and enjoyed gardening.

Cissy was the wife of the late Adam Rakutis; beloved mother of Michael A. Rakutis and his wife Karen A. (Driscoll) Rakutis of Mashpee; and sister of the late Warren Blanchard.

All are welcome to a calling hour Friday, Feb. 26th from 10 to 11 a.m. and her prayer service at 11 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Her burial will be private.
