Patricia M. Giovanniello, 100, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024. Born and raised in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Evangelisto and Nicolina (Poppulo) Giovanniello. She lived in Revere and worked on engines at General Electric in Lynn during World War II. In those years Patricia loved to dance on weekends at the Revere Ballroom. After raising her family and working at various places her last job was for Teradyne in Boston soldering circuit boards.
Patricia was an excellent craftswoman, skilled seamstress, designed clothes, and enjoyed handcrafts including sewing, knitting, crocheting and tatting. She was a strong and free spirit and loved to travel the world.
Patricia was the beloved mother of Nikki Thompson of Brockton, Timothy Grzyboski of Norton and Camille Grzyboski of Ashburnham; loving grandmother of Tina Grzyboski, David Thompson, Dimitri Thompson (and Lillian), Jeffrey Thompson (and Tara), Ana Heisermann (and Akshay), and the late Eric Grzyboski; great-grandmother of Madeleine, Charlotte, Nathaniel, Ailionora, Gabriella, Savannah, Courtney, and the late Deven; great-great-grandmother of Meadow, August and Luca; and sister of the late Anthony Giovanniello and Albert Giovanniello.
All are welcome to a calling hour Thursday, October 17 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton followed by her funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Parish and burial at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
