Patricia J. (Marble) Cerrato

Patricia J. (Marble) Cerrato, 86, of Avon, passed away on October 22, 2024. Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Helen M. (Shanahan) Marble. Raised and educated in Holbrook, she met her future husband Joseph while ice skating there. Patricia was a meticulous homemaker and enjoyed an active lifestyle. She loved family rides to Cape Cod Canal, neighborhood walks and bike riding with her husband, camping, and the occasional Dairy Queen treat. Patricia was quick-witted and was mentally and physically strong until the end. She was immensely selfless and will be greatly missed by many.  

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Cerrato Sr. for 64 years until his passing in 2023; loving mother of Donna Belleville and her husband Michael of Whitman, Joseph A. Cerrato Jr. and his wife Cheri of Sandwich, Mary Kelly and her husband Kevin of Canton, Daniel Cerrato of East Bridgewater, and Ann Edwards and her husband Robert of Avon; dear grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister of William Marble, Thomas Marble, Gail Richard, and the late Marylou Cribben, Dorothy Mahoney, Edward Marble, John Marble, Joan Kerr, Helenmary Lynch, George Marble, Claire Rice (and their spouses); and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
