Patricia A. Pina

Patricia A. Pina, 77, of Brockton, went home to the Lord on February 2, 2021, four days shy of her 78th birthday. Patty's roots were in Hanson, Massachusetts, where she was raised by her parents, Isabel (Lima) and Frank Pina Jr. She was a proud graduate of Whitman High School. Patty spent a great deal of her career in the insurance field employed by Aetna and Traveler's Insurance from which she retired in 2014. Patty was an adored member of the Brockton community for approximately fifty years. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was raising her son Derrick, whom she adopted at a young age.

Patty leaves to mourn her beloved companion Samuel Williams of Brockton; her son Derrick (Christine) Williams of Stoughton; her brothers Frank Pina III, Richard Pina, and Wayne (Jeff) Pina; many Godchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Due to Mass. State Guidelines a public viewing will be held at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton on Friday, February 12th from 10-11 a.m. (Face masks, social distancing, and occupancy limits per COVID-19 protocol.) Formal services and burial will be held privately, immediate family only. Livestreaming will be available.  A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at a later date.
