Oriana Dorismond, 91, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 18, 2025. Born in Léogâne, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Phaton Dorismond and Exteni Durandis. She immigrated to the United States in 2000, making a home in Massachusetts. Devoted to her faith, Oriana was a prayer warrior and active member of her church. She liked structure and order, keeping a tidy house full of love and delicious homecooked meals for her family.
Oriana was the beloved mother of Marie J. Eveillard of Stoughton and Jean Raynald St. Hilaire of Brockton; loving grandmother of Deodato Louissaint, Joanne Louissaint, and Vanessa Fernandes; great-grandmother of 7; sister of the late Marthe I. Denna, Mrs. Toussaint Auguste, and Elton Dorismond; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at her funeral service on Saturday, November 1st at 9:30 a.m. at Haitian Assembly of God, 204 Court St., Brockton, with viewing in the church beginning at 8:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton. Live streaming of Oriana’s funeral will be available.
