Normand R. Parenteau

Normand R. Parenteau, 83, of Brockton, passed away March 1, 2023. Native of Biddeford, Maine, he was the youngest of 16 children to the late Alphonsine and Rudolph Parenteau. He came to Brockton and was employed by FootJoy for over 30 years. Normand enjoyed his part-time work at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, watching football, annual trips to Aruba since 1987, driving his antique Auburn, playing golf and snowmobiling. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Normand was the beloved husband of Joyce (Tautkus) Parenteau, loving father of Theresa Devine (and Robert) of Bourne, David Parenteau of Brockton, Michelle Moore of Taunton, Deanna Dellamano (and Joseph) of Middleboro, and Gregory Parenteau (and Lynne) of Lakeville, dear grandfather of 11, and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Sunday March 5th from 4 to 6 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, his funeral Monday March 6th at 9 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, and funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 87 North Main St. Avon. Cremation and private burial later. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
