Norma B. (Svedine) Hooke, 90, of Brockton, passed away on September 29, 2025. A daughter of the late Carl H. and Barbara L. (Chandler) Svedine, Norma was born in Quincy and raised in Avon. She was an inspector in the shoe manufacturing industry for many years, working for Randy Shoe, Hit or Miss Warehouse, Codman, Dymo, and FootJoy. After retirement, she was a delivery driver for Holmes-McDuffy Florist.
Norma was the wife of the late Howard E. Hooke; beloved mother of Sandra Spring (and Scott), Susan Hooke (and Dennis Parker), Sharon Sullivan (and Gary), Brian Hooke, and Scott Hooke (and Sara); loving grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of many; dear sister of Donna MacDonald, and the late Lawrence Svedine, Viola E. Szydlowski, David Svedine, Carl Svedine, Barbara Tibnam, and Roberta Daversa; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours Thurs., Oct. 2nd from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, her funeral service Fri., Oct. 3rd at 10 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton.
