Nohemy Acosta, 81, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2024. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, she was the daughter of the late Irene Acosta. She worked in healthcare for many years.
Nohemy was the beloved mother of Sayonara Recinos, Delmy Aguilar and her husband Ernesto, Francisco Recinos II, and Juan Recinos; loving grandmother of Denise, Victorugo, Astrid, Carlos, Joselyn, Bella, Federico, Francisco III, Manuel, Leonardo, and Tiffany; sister of Eduardo Acosta, Oscar Acosta, Miriam Acosta, and Marina Acosta; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours on Monday, December 23rd from 5-8 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Tuesday, December 24th at 9 a.m., funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery, 95 North Cary St., Brockton.
