Nancy J. (Sullivan) Pye, 86, of Oak Point in Middleborough for the past 20 years, passed away December 10, 2024. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Amelia A. Pike and Daniel Sullivan and stepdaughter of the late Gordon D. Pike Jr., she resided in Brockton most of her life where she was devoted to her family and home. Nancy was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed reading, and was a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul food pantry in Middleborough.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Wilfred M. “Bill” Pye for 69 years; loving mother of William M. Pye (wife Karen) of Chesapeake VA, Gail M. Maliski (husband Joseph) of Middleborough, Richard M. Pye (wife Leslie) of Brockton and Maureen D. Saponaro (partner Randy Kulp) of Oley, PA; adoring grandmother of 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; predeceased by sister Joanne (Sullivan) Costello (Robert), Patricia Sullivan, Gordon Pike (Lillian), Louella (Pike) Keay (James), Claire (Pike) McGrath (John); and a dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours Thursday December 19th 4-7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral Friday December 20th at 10 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater. Livestreaming of Nancy's funeral will be available.
