Monique Yuill-Nieves, 58, of Brockton, passed away March 13, 2024. Born in Richford, Vermont, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Georgette (Daigneault) Yuill. Monique was raised in Jamaica Plain, graduated from Copley Square High School, and earned an associate’s degree from Lasell College. She was employed as a physical therapy assistant for many years, her most recent job was at Family Rehab in downtown Brockton.
Monique loved the outdoors, especially being at the beach or by the pool and loved the warm weather and the summer sun. She enjoyed quality time with her family, including her four-legged friends: Jake, Dolce, Maddie, Princess, Jojo, and many others. Monique was a wonderful Mom, wife, aunt, and friend. She was fun, kind, and loving; and she brought out the best in everyone around her.
Monique was the beloved wife of Louis Nieves, loving mother of Kristina Nieves of Brockton, sister of Michelle McKeehan of Mendon, Grant McKeehan of Boston and her late twin Elise Morrow, sister-in-law of Herbert Morrow of Hyde Park, aunt of Jacqueline, Kayla, Samantha and Deanna Morrow, daughter-in-law of Francisca Nieves and the late Luis Nieves, sister-in-law of Edwin Cardenas and Linda Escalante; and an aunt of several other nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, all are welcome to memorial calling hours Friday, March 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. during which there will be a prayer service. Private committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts, 1300 West Elm St. Ext. Brockton MA 02301.
