Milianne Mitilien Lyncee

Milianne Mitilien Lyncee, 83, of Raynham, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026. Born in Fonfrède, Cayes, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Elira Mitilien and Rosalie Berlus. She immigrated to the United States in 2008, making her home in Massachusetts. A devout Catholic, Milianne was a longtime communicant of Christ the King Parish in Brockton.

Devoted to her family and home, Milianne extended warmth and love to everyone she met throughout her life. Generous by nature, she enjoyed cooking large meals for family and friends. Making lasting memories was important to her and she especially loved celebrating Mother’s Day, a joyous occasion that brought unity, laughter, and music sung by her children.

Though she went without an extensive formal education, she was immensely smart and her family often went to her for advice and financial guidance. She was detail oriented, possessing a sharp memory and shrewd business sense. Her teachings will last for generations and her love endless.

Milianne was the wife of the late Yves Lynce; cherished mother of Huguette Lynce and her husband Hyacinth Joseph of Long Island, N.Y., Myrlande Lyncee of Brockton, Jean Fegens Lynce and his wife Marie Andree Lynce of Avon, Yvesmerry Lyncee and her husband Charles Henry Jacques of North Easton, Wilgueens Lynce and his wife Carlyne Shoute of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, John Lynce and his wife Idelie Jean-Baptiste Lynce of Assonet, Rose Fortuna Lyncee and her fiancée Richard Louis of Raynham, and the late Kinley Lynce and his widow Rose Maggy Lynce of Canada and the late Jean Mario Lynce and his widow Margaret Lynce.

She was the loving grandmother of Mickerlande Lyncee-Stval, Youdeline Lyncee-Boutin, Trisha Joseph, Stacy Prosper-Gustave,Brians Exilus, Myrria Lyncee-Hale, Myrna Lyncee-St Hilaire, Fegens Lyncee Jr., Kerry Fred Lynce, John M Lyncee, Guerdora Lyncee, Bradley Lyncee, Dora Lyncee,Sabie Rochelle Marcellus, Gaelle Vanessa Marcellus, Cedrick Lynce, Gabriel Lynce, Kiaralie Lyncee, Robby Lee Lynce, Thamie Lyncee, Achim Lynce, Emaiya Rose E-Lyncee, Elizha Rochel E-Lyncee, Aaliyah Dupuy, Natalie Calixte; great- grandmother of Jayden St. Val, Kerden St. Val, Claden St. Val, Heyden St. Val, Zeyden St. Val, Gervin Boutin, Visalia Boutin, Zahkai Townsend, Alana Huguette Desrossiers, Solette Leandra Hale, Keenyah Mirlie Lynce, Dario Ralph Saintulien, and Nyla Lyncee; adopted mother of Carine Nazaire, David Joseph, Michelle Samedy Badette, and Nancy Felix; Godmother of Hermithe Berlus and Frizky Fleurand; sister of the late Violet, Willy, Raymond, Raul, and Ginel Mitilien; and a dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to her viewing on Saturday, August 22nd from 8-9:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, followed by her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton, and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton.
