Michel Marcel Desronvil

Michel Marcel Desronvil, 86, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 8, 2020. Born in Plaissance, Haiti, he was the son of the late Lefranc and Sylvina (Lespinasse) Desronvil. Michel immigrated to the United States in 1982, settling in Massachusetts with his family. He was an educator for 25 years and was a talented carpenter by trade, building caskets and quality furniture. He was dedicated to his family, nourishing them with love and knowledge. Michel was the devoted husband of Ginette (Jean Noel) Desronvil for 54 years; beloved father of Mirtha Desronvil of Stoughton, Gina Desronvil-Audate and her husband Bonaventure of Pawtucket, R.I., Michel Ange Desronvil and his wife Line Rose of Brockton, Marcelle D. Lissade and her husband Patrice of Cary, N.C., and Michael Peguy Desronvil and his wife Jouveline of Brockton; loving grandfather of Lesly Azor, Mirlesna Sterlin, Andy Audate, Alain Audate, Darschelle D. Desronvil, Deeyana D. Desronvil, Julien G. Lissade, Danzel M. Desronvil, and Maliyah S. Lissade; great-grandfather of Saïm Sterlin and Alhana Azor; cherished brother of Emilienne Desronvil of Stoughton, Anne Fidelia Salomon of FL, Levit Desronvil of Randolph, and the late Adante Michel, Veronique Obas, Dominique Desronvil, Saraï Valbrun, and Saul Desronvil; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Saturday, June 13th at 8 a.m., funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton, and burial at Melrose Cemetery.

**Due to requirements of strict compliance, and out of an abundance of caution to keep family, staff, and visitors safe, the Massachusetts Governor’s Phase Two Re-Opening directives will absolutely be followed. In accordance therewith, no more than 40% capacity will be allowed to congregate at any one time in the funeral home and church. Face masks are required for admittance.
