Michael J. "Emma" Emery

Michael J. Emery, 54, of Holbrook in recent years, passed away Oct. 28, 2023. Born, raised, and educated in Brockton, he resided there most of his life. Michael was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School in 1987 and Massasoit Community College. He was employed in the financial industry and then at various jobs.

Always an avid sports fan and go-to for any questions, known by the nickname “Emma”, he was a talented athlete, playing baseball for school and city leagues including East Side Improvement Association, and also played adult floor hockey. Michael treasured his relationships with his lifelong friends and will be sadly missed by family and friends.

He was the beloved son of Michael G. Emery and the late Judith A. (Malone) Emery, and the loving brother of Corinne DiBona, Holly Butler and her husband Shawn, and Patrick Emery and his wife Carin; and a special uncle to many nieces and nephews.
