Michael J. Meninno

Michael J. Meninno, 82, a lifelong resident of Avon, died August 14, 2021. Michael served the Town of Avon as a police officer for 25 years, then owned Thompson Manor Realty Trust for many years. He was a hard worker and enjoyed caring for his properties and listening to country music.

Michael was the beloved husband of Janice A. (Stewart) Meninno for 46 years; loving father of Brenda Bradley (and Gerard) of Avon, David Meninno (and Robert) of Taunton, Robert Hopkins (and Terri) of East Bridgewater, and Grant Hopkins (and Diane) of Avon; dear grandfather and great-grandfather of many including Jacqueline Tiso-McNamara, Rebecca Tiso, Gregory Tiso, Nicole Tiso-Banks and their families; brother of Judy Altieri (and Michael) of Brockton; and an uncle.

All are welcome to calling hours Saturday, Aug. 21st from 9-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton and burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Brockton VNA Hospice.
