Michael Altieri Jr.

Michael Altieri Jr., 90, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025. He was a son of the late Michael and Elda (Gismondi) Altieri. He earned a certificate in television and radio repair, worked as a delivery route driver, and was a laundromat attendant in Holbrook for 15 years and at Alexander’s Plaza in Brockton prior to retirement. Michael enjoyed playing chess and fixing electronics.

Michael was the beloved husband for 70 years of the late Judith E. (Meninno) Altieri who passed away on December 20, 2024; loving father of Paula Altieri of Brockton, Pamela Altieri of Brockton and Patti and her husband Eugene “Gene” Mucci of Raynham; brother of the late late Carlo (and Elaine) Altieri and Roger Altieri; he leaves a sister-in-law Chicky Altieri of Halifax, nephews, nieces, and his granddog Candace.

All are welcome to gather on Saturday, Jan. 18th at 10 a.m. followed by a prayer service at 11 a.m. all at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Cremation and a private family committal will be held at Melrose Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
