Maximo "Arturo" Rojas Urquia

Maximo "Arturo" Rojas Urquia passed away on July 14, 2021. Born in Cajamarca, Peru, he was the son of the late Isaias Rojas and Gregoria Urquia. Maximo served his church as an Evangelistic Missionary and would help with church responsibilities including preaching at services. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and cleaning; but especially enjoyed spending time with his family, making lifelong memories with his grandchildren.

Maximo was the beloved husband of Maria Abanto; loving father of Alcira Rojas (and Hermitano Medina), Juana Rojas de Rivera (and Oscar Rivera), Maria Rojas Apaza (and Erwin Apaza), Jacob Rojas (and Rocio Aliaga de Rojas), Acacio Rojas (and Eva Rojas), Keila Rojas-Valdez (and Richard Valdez), Sara Rojas (and Abraham Beteta); an adoring grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren; beloved brother of Eligio Rojas, Edita Rojas, Altemira Rojas and the late Teodoro Rojas, Artemio Rojas and Fredesvinda Rojas; and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Tuesday July 20th 5 - 9 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, his funeral Wednesday July 21th at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
