Max Kenol, 79, of Brockton, passed away on March 8, 2021. Born in Saint-Marc, Haiti, he was the son of the late Dumas Kenol and Lydia Fenelus. Max attended law school in Gonaïves, Haiti and was a lawyer for many years until his retirement. He was a people person, enjoying talks on the phone with those near and far, and socializing with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Max was the husband of Telieze Noel; father of Herve Kenol of Brockton, Romelse Kenol and his wife Myrline Desormeau of Pawtucket, R.I.; Jonide Kenol of Florida, and Rachel Saintilus of Canada; grandfather of Maxine, Bridney, Aaron, Allen, Brandon, Lauren, Kyle, and Andrew; brother of Michelet, Leo, Vilaire, Francois, George, Mimose, Didi, Bernadette, Nicole, Yvana, and the late Wilfrid, Ernest, Arsene, Jacques, Serge, Gerard, Yves, and Immacula; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to his viewing on Saturday, March 27th from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, his funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Parish (limited occupancy), 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery, 163 N. Cary St., Brockton. Face masks and social distancing required. Live streaming of Max’s funeral Mass will be available.
