Martha Louise (Reddington) Arnold passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026 at the age of 80. Born May 6, 1946 and raised in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of the late Paul K. and Martha J. (Bailer) Reddington. Martha was known for her smart intellect, kind heart, gentle spirit, and strong values. Above all, she fiercely loved her family and filled their lives with laughter and unwavering support. She carried herself with humility, grace, and compassion throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone blessed to know her. Defined by her exceptional strength as a woman and her deeply loving presence, she naturally brought comfort and peace to those around her.
She was married to Bernard R. Arnold for 52 wonderful years and created a beautiful, bustling home in Brockton, MA, where she raised her five children with infinite patience, delicious meals, and an immaculately clean house always filled with love and laughter. Martha was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose unconditional love and open-door policy will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her husband Bernard, daughters Karen, Beth, Lisa, and Judy; her son Kevin. Martha is also survived by her son-in-law James Dumoulin; her granddaughter Kayla Francis; her beloved sisters, Kay Reddington and Paula Kelly; as well as many extended family members and friends who were blessed by her unconditional love. A truly devoted animal lover, she leaves behind her cherished cats, Pumpkin and Charlie, who will miss her every day. Predeceased in death by her beloved sister Anna Mae LaFlower.
We carry heavy hearts, yet we are profoundly comforted by the decades of beautiful memories and the enduring legacy Martha leaves behind. She lived a life that was a true blessing to others, leaving us a treasure trove of moments that ensure she will always be deeply loved and dearly missed.
In loving memory of a life beautifully lived.
Respectfully, her funeral service and burial are private.
