Marlin A. Emschweiler Jr., 70, of Brockton, died December 25, 2020. Born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Marlin A. Sr. and Dorothy A. (Eveland) Emschweiler. Marlin worked as a computer programmer for many years, then was an assistant manager at Cumberland Farms, before retiring as department manager from Target after 10 years there. Marlin was a karate practitioner at the Okinawan Karate Club in Stoughton for over 20 years. He was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church in Brockton. Marlin was the beloved husband of Donna (Carl) Emschweiler; and the loving father of Dara Powers and her husband Brandon, and Matthew Emschweiler and his wife Nicole Swimm. Respectfully, services are private. Live streaming of Marlin’s service will be available.
