Marjorie A. Loveday

Marjorie A. (Gunther) Loveday, 92, of Brockton, passed away July 29, 2026. Native of Randolph, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Margaret (Carroll) Gunther. She is survived by a sister Joan (Gunther) Hartwell, and was preceded in death by her brothers Felix Gunther and Joseph Gunther and her sister Carol (Gunther) Pullen.

Marjorie was a waitress at Christo’s for 34 years, prior to retirement. She enjoyed shopping the sales at Macy’s, cruises, bus trips to New York City and Foxwoods, and a trip to Las Vegas with her Christo’s Family. Above all else, she loved her Family and all of the Family gatherings.

Marjorie was the beloved Mother of Deborah (Noonan) Burr (and the late Kenneth Burr), Denice (Noonan) Maurice (and the late Charlie Maurice), Cheryl (Loveday) Diamond (and the late Michael Diamond), Vicki Loveday and Kenneth Blackman, Darlene (Loveday) Wheeler (and Jon Wheeler), Scott Loveday, and the late Andrew Loveday. Marjorie was also the loving Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother of many. She was also an adoring Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
