Marilyn L. (Watson) Horner, 66, of Brockton, formerly a longtime resident of Avon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 6, 2024. Born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Donald Lee and Janice (Plocke) Watson.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Edwin C. Horner; loving mother of Derek Horner (and Lauren) of Brockton, Christopher Dwyer (and Amy) of Kingston, Kerri Johnson (and Matt) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Edwin A. Horner of Maine, Denise Horner of Rhode Island, Joseph Horner (and Cathy) of Maine, and Jamie Horner of Italy; loving grandmother and great-grandmother of many; sister of Teri Watson (and John Coffman) of Inverness, Florida, Gary Watson and Cathy Wilkins, both of Rockland, and the late Carolyn Fitzpatrick and her husband Bob of Pembroke; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to calling hours Thurs., March 14th from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, her funeral service Fri., March 15th at 8:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home and 10:45 a.m. committal at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
