Marie T. (Cuddy) Walker, 83, of Brockton, passed away on July 18, 2024. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Thelma Marie (Riordan) Cuddy. Marie worked in customer service and was employed at Howard Johnson’s for over 20 years, Chadwick’s of Boston, and United Liquors. She was a devout Christian, who enjoyed watching or listening to Christian TV, listening to Christian music, singing, reading, dancing, and years ago playing bingo.
Marie was the loving wife of the late David A. Walker Sr.; beloved mother of David A. Walker Jr. (and Tina) of Summerville, SC, Vincent Walker (and Sally Galano) of Brockton, MA, Linda LaTremouille of Plymouth, MA, Rosalind Silba of Kingston, MA, Victoria Duszak (and Joe) of Atkinson, NH; beloved grandmother of Michelle Silba-Murphy, Shannon Seward, Michael Silba Jr., Jason Andrade, Cory, Brittany, Katie and Matthew Walker, Derek and Jarod Fucci, and the late William “Billy” LaTremouille; beloved great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren; beloved sister of Phyllis Dangora of Cohasset, Jacqueline (and Jack) Lawson of Plympton, John (and Betsy) Cuddy of North Reading, Gerard (and Jane) Cuddy of Winthrop, Janet Cuddy of Florida, Michael Cuddy of Reading, Mary (and Ken) Cormier of Nahant, Mark (and Nicole) Cuddy of Wilmington, and Jeanne Delorfano of Florida. She was also the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Marie will be deeply missed and cherished by her family and friends. All are welcome to calling hours on Monday, July 29th from 10:00 a.m. to12:00 p.m. and her funeral service at 12 p.m. all at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, with burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery, 163 North Cary Street Brockton.
