Marie Micheline (Jacques) Belizaire, 64, of Brockton, passed away on October 29, 2024. Born in Pétion-Ville, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Jean Raoul Charles and Claire Jacques. Micheline immigrated to the United States in 1987, living in Boston for a few years before making her home in Brockton. She was blessed with a creative spirit and loved to sew, dance, and plan parties. She was a talented seamstress, creating beautiful garments that she wore with pride, garnering admiration for her skill. In addition to her ventures in catering and party planning, Micheline also worked as a home health aide for many years. Loved by many, her natural sparkle attracted many friends, and she was always the life of the party. Micheline will be sadly missed.
Micheline was the beloved mother of Yuri G. Martinez, Jihane Mendy Martinez, Claude Renée-Alexander Martinez, and Thonya Mileneshy Belizaire, all of Brockton; cherished sister of Patrick Jacques, Harry Jacques, Raoul Jacques, Mireille (Jacques) Cherismo, Patricia Jacques Moïse, Marie Lucy (Alexandre) Reininger, and the late Erick Jacques and Jean Robert Jacques; and a loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to her viewing on Saturday, November 16th from 8-9 a.m., followed by her funeral service at 9 a.m. at The First Haitian Church of Brockton “The Rock”, 940 Main St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton.
