Marie Jeanne Borange

Marie Jeanne Borange, 82, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Born in Petit-Goâve, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Therisfort Borange and Anatude Julie Saturne. Marie Jeanne was devoted to her family and home and was a woman of great faith who prayed daily. Sundays were for church and family dinners, as she loved to prepare delicious meals for everyone. Marie Jeanne enjoyed an active lifestyle, from daily walks to gardening, she loved time spent in nature. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Marie Jeanne was the beloved mother of Jackline Laurore and her husband Widner of Brockton, and Odile Altidor and family of Revere; cherished grandmother of Nerline S. Laurore, Jerry Laurore, and Daniel Laurore; loving great-grandmother of Nala, Lyric, Gianna, and Melody. Marie Jeanne leaves many additional family and friends to mourn her passing.

All are welcome to visitation Friday, January 31st from 9-10 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton. Livestreaming of Marie Jeanne’s funeral will be available.
