Marie Gisele Desrosiers

Marie Gisele Desrosiers, 81, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026. Born in Jérémie, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Saint Aime Desrosiers and Regina Pierre-Louis. Gisele immigrated to the United States in 2009, living in Virginia before settling in Massachusetts in 2014.

A woman of great strength and faith, she fought through any challenges presented throughout her life. She was elegant and loved dressing up and attending various galas. Gisele enjoyed attending church services and maintained a personal relationship with her pastor, whom she loved greatly.  She loved cooking large meals for everyone and attending parties.

Gisele was the beloved mother of Guerlene Guillaume of Stoughton, Evans Desrosiers of Virginia, Jude-Edna Maximilien of Haiti, Maxim Maximilien and his wife Carline of Stoughton, Mackenson Maximilien of Stoughton, and Michele Joseph of Taunton; cherished grandmother of Jeff Joseph, Maurisso Metilus, Marva Desrosiers, Thara Desrosiers-Pierce, Eva Desrosiers, Beverly Antoine, Ashley Max-Carlie Maximilien, Marie Lyshah Maximilien, Mackerdina Maximilien, Mackervinne Maximilien, Mackerry Maximilien, Dorianne Maximilien, Swebson Maximilien, Witchel Joseph, Shirley Joseph, Darnel Joseph, and the late Kemsy Guillaume, Brian Guillaume, and Kimberly Antoine; great grandmother and great-great grandmother of many; loving sister of Renise Desrosiers of Brockton, Eugeni Desrosiers of Haiti, Gerald Desrosiers of Haiti, and the late Solange Desrosiers, Emante Desrosiers, and Yvrose Desroiers; and a dear and close aunt of several nieces and nephews and their families.

All are welcome to her viewing on Saturday, August 1st from 8 to 9 a.m. followed by her 9 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton. Live streaming of Gisele’s funeral will be available.
