Obituary
Marie Claire Carine Derolus, 63, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2023 surrounded by her family. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was a daughter of the late Rodolphe and Marie Laurette (Alexis) Derolus. A communicant of Christ the King Parish, she loved going to church and singing. Carine was a “people person”, and enjoyed helping others, especially the elderly.
Carine was the beloved mother of Rachelle Morency and Sophonie Fleurenville; loving sister of Myrna Derolus, Carol Derolus Laroche, Vela Derolus, Jean-Wosny Derolus, Danie Derolus Lauredent, Marc Eddie Derolus, Marie Sherley Derolus, and the late Yolene Derolus; dear aunt of Jean Nadro Derolus, Jim Kelly Guiteaud, Jim Railly Guiteaud, Rodney Cardoso, Vernell Laroche, Stephanie Derolus, Jonathan Derolus, Nathan Derolus, Edrick Lauredent, Darren Lauredent, Edwin Lauredent, Mervin Itacy, Mackenley Derolus, Rose Berly Derolus, and Mishelle Bataille. Carine also leaves many additional family and friends to mourn her passing.
All are welcome to her funeral Mass on Fri., May 5th at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton, and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton. Live streaming of Carine’s funeral will be available.
