Marie R. Girodier-Lormil, 89, of Brockton, passed away on January 30, 2021. Born in Cavaillon, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Estiverne Lormil and Elizia Moise. Marie was the wife of the late Thomas Girodier; beloved mother of Jean Girodier of Brockton, Gilbert Girodier of Canada, Wilbert Girodier of Haiti, Yves Girodier of Canada, Simone Girodier of Florida, and adoptive daughter Denise of France; loving grandmother of Fransceska, Angela, Winsza, Christelle, Elodie, Ashnora, Amberton, Gibeli, Jimmy, Junior, Weedgie, Wolf, Mike, and Cyntia; mother-in-law of Angeline, Carmille, and Claudia; she also leaves many additional family and friends, including Rose Marie, Joanne, Muriel, Lelene, Cheriben, Levenson, Esta, Jeanne, Willy, Silvie, famille Girodier, Clermont, Durestil, Cademus, Cherival, Belzie, Aladin, Pierre, Lormil, Marc, Cadet and many others.

All are welcome to her viewing Wed., Feb. 10th from 10-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. service (limited occupancy) in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Due to COVID regulations, social distancing and masks are required. Live streaming will be available.
