Maria Delgado Silva

Maria Delgado Silva, 53, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2025. Maria was born on March 20, 1972, in São Vicente, Cabo Verde, to her late parents João Correia Silva and Maria Amélia Delgado.

Maria faced many challenges throughout her life, but she carried a gentle spirit, a loving heart, and a warm sense of humor that stayed with her through everything. She loved her children in the ways she knew how and remained connected to her roots and her culture.

Maria was the mother of Joana, Nakita, Alexander, and Christopher. She is also survived by her siblings Paula, Carlita, Fátima, Jorge, Liliana  and Alcinda.

Maria was loved by many throughout her life and will be remembered for her kindness, her resilience, and the light she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
