Maria (Szwedko) Bester

Maria (Szwedko) (Kendzia) Bester, 73, of Brockton, passed away on September 14, 2022. Born in Jeziorki, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Felicja (Okscin) Szwedko.

Maria was the wife of the late Leo Bester and Andrzej Kendzia; beloved mother of Beata Boucher and her husband Raymond of Brockton and Bożena Franczak and her husband Piotr of Poland; loving grandmother of Raymond A. Boucher and Allie Ippolito, Kevin M. Boucher and Samantha Westgate, David Franczak and Kasia, and Mateuz Franczak and Agatka; great-grandmother of Holden M. Boucher and Rȯza Franczak; sister of Jadwyga “Jackie” Zygmunt, Irena Sabina-Calabrese and her husband Domenic, George Szwedko, and the late Chester, Julian, Janina, and Jeffrey Szwedko, and Felicija Bartnik; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Mon., Sept. 26th from 4-7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Tues., Sept. 27th at 9:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
