Margaret A. Collins

Margaret A. “Peggy” Collins, 82, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away on April 29, 2019 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kelleher) Collins. Margaret worked as a switchboard operator at Cardinal Cushing Hospital/Good Samaritan Medical Center for 37 years until her retirement. She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping. Peg had a passion for cooking and the series M*A*S*H. Margaret leaves her loving family; sister Ellen N. Silva of Brockton; niece Marlene Nintzel and her husband Tom of Boxboro, and nephew Christopher Silva and his wife Karen of Bridgewater. She spent many hours with her great nieces and nephews Jonathan Bailey, Kayla Silva, Andrew Silva, Matthew Silva and Theresa Nintzel. A private family service will be held.
