Luna (Etienne) Durosca, 71, of Brockton, passed away on February 13, 2020. Born in Borgne, Haiti. She was the daughter of the late Lorvince and Iselie (Pierre) Etienne. Luna immigrated to the United States in 1982, settling in Boston until she moved to Florida in 1997, where she remained until 2019. She was kind, hospitable and generous, sharing both her home and delicious meals with anyone in need. Her home was a revolving door of love. Luna enjoyed traveling, especially back to Haiti to see her loving family. She loved life, and her laughter and beautiful smile warmed the hearts of others around her. Luna was the beloved wife of Andieu Durosca for 50 years; loving mother of Guerda Durosca of South Easton, Guerlande Joseph of Brockton, Gerde Durosca of Davenport, FL, Viergelie Gaston of Attleboro, Wislyn Durosca of South Easton, Julie Durosca of Brockton, and Rosena Joseph, who she considered one of her own; dear grandmother of Kenneth, Ethan, Garnel, Jaden, Gaelle, Kytayshia, Talaya, Adaysha, Nicholai, Victoria, and Isabella; great-grandmother of T.J. and Lovie; sister of Sylvanie Etienne, Roger Etienne, Innocent Etienne, and the late Raphael Etienne, Rene Etienne, and Luc Etienne; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. All are welcome to her funeral service Saturday, February 29th at 9 a.m. in Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant St., Brockton, with visitation in the church beginning at 8 a.m. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery.
