Lise Pierre, 79, of Brockton, passed away at home on June 23, 2020. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Simon Pierre and Carida (Noel) Pierre-Louis. Lise was the wife of the late Thelemaque Dorlean; beloved mother of Israel Dorlean, Maguy Dorlean, Ruth Dorlean, Suze Dorlean, Guetty D. Dorlean, and Martine Dorlean, all of Brockton, and the late Esther Dorlean; loving grandmother of Max Steve Badio, Stephanie Badio, Jerry Badio, Chrissy Jean, Christopher Jean, Merantha Jean, and Naomi Jean; dear sister of Jean Claude Pierre-Louis and his wife Danie of Boston; cousin of Gary Coquillo and family. Lise also leaves many additional family members and friends. After traveling extensively between the United States and Haiti during the 1970s, Lise settled in the U.S. in 1995. She was a savvy entrepreneur in Haiti, owning and running a masonry supply shop for many years. Lise was an exceptional cook and loved dressing up and socializing. All are welcome to her funeral service on Thursday, July 2nd at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, with visitation in the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery. Live streaming of her funeral will be available.
