Leronie “Lolotte” Charlestin, 78, of Brockton, passed away on June 24, 2025. Born in Aux Cayes, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Merican Charlestin and Amerithe Danger. Leronie immigrated to the United States in 2005, settling in Massachusetts. She was widely known for the delicious meals she prepared for both her family and business. Devoted to her family and faith, Leronie was known for her humor, kindness, and care for all people.
Leronie was the beloved mother of Sonold Edouarzin of Haiti, Jean Eval Edouarzin and his wife Evelyn St. Cilien of Brockton, Smith Charlestin of Haiti, Renald Charlestin of Haiti, and Islande Louis of Brockton; cherished grandmother of many; and a loving sister of Villaire Charlestin and family of Haiti.
All are welcome to her viewing on Thursday, July 3rd from 10-11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton. Livestreaming of Lolotte's funeral will be available.
