Leon P. Courtemanche

Leon P. Courtemanche, 95, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2019.  He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a life member of Association of Naval Aviation. Leon enjoyed long-distance auto travels across the United States with his late wife Anne. His passion was photography, in which he was able to make a career. A devout Catholic, he was also very close to the Sisters of Jesus Crucified in Brockton. Leon was the beloved husband of the late Anne V. (Marianna) Courtemanche for almost 71 years, before her passing in 2017; and the loving father of Leon J. Courtemanche of Springfield. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday, July 28th from 2-4 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, his funeral Monday, July 29th at 9 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church and burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Springfield.
