LeRoy J. Woodman Jr., 75, of Brockton, died April 11, 2022. Born in Weymouth, he was a son of the late LeRoy J. and Mildred L. (Martin) Woodman. LeRoy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the City of Brockton Highway Department for many years, retiring as foreman and worked at Grossman’s until its closing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music, Western movies, Flanagan’s weekly auctions, and dining out at Woodman’s in Essex MA.
LeRoy was the loving father of LeRoy J. Woodman III (and Lisa) of Brockton, and Seth E. Woodman (and Sheryl) of Raynham; beloved grandfather of LeRoy J. Woodman IV (and Emily), Benjamin A. Woodman, Kayla L. Woodman, Connor R. Woodman, Lucas J. Woodman, Augustus A. Woodman, Haliegh R. Overton, and Timothy F. Overton; second father to Scott A. Curtis; brother of Pamela (Woodman) Sheehan of New Bedford, Wayne Woodman of Florida, and the late Wendy and Janice Woodman; and an uncle of nieces Janice, Wendy, Erin, Milissa, Nikki, and Hayley and nephews Brian, Jason, Gabriel, Joshua, Bryan and Randall. He was the former husband of the late Linda L. (Crough) Woodman.
All are welcome to calling hours Sunday, April 24th from 1-4 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, his funeral service Monday, April 25th at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial with military honors at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
