Lawrence J. McDonald

Lawrence J. McDonald, 84, of Brockton, passed away on March 19, 2025. Born in Newton, he was the son of the late John and Mary E. (LaCroix) McDonald. Larry was a forklift operator at Chadwicks of Boston for over 28 years until his retirement.

He was immensely proud of his home and family and doted on his granddaughter Ashley, who was his world. He was an animal lover and could often be found helping his family with home projects or lounging with his beloved cats. In earlier years, Larry enjoyed trips to the family beach house in Humarock and camping.

Larry was the husband of the late Mary Ann (Iannuzzo) McDonald; father of Lawrence J. McDonald Jr. and his wife Lisa of Brockton, and the late Cheryl Johnson; grandfather of Ashley S. McDonald of Brockton; brother of Bill McDonald and his wife Deb of Florida, and the late Jack McDonald; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
