Lawrence A. LaMonica Sr., 84, of Brockton and Everett, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Lucy (Russo) LaMonica. He was employed by the United States Postal Service for 20 years until his retirement. Lawrence was an active member of the Holbrook Sportsman Club for over 60 years, where he served as past president. In his downtime, he enjoyed traveling worldwide with family and friends.
Lawrence was the father of Steven LaMonica and his wife Liz, Lisa Routson, Suzanne “Suzy” LaMonica-Karris and her husband Mark, and the late Lawrence “Larry” LaMonica Jr.; grandfather of 12; and the longtime fiance of Cynthia DePietro of Everett.
All are welcome to calling hours on Friday, April 24th from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, his funeral from Waitt Funeral Home on Saturday, April 25th at 9 a.m., funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery, 95 N.
