Lawrence A. LaMonica Jr.

Lawrence A. “Larry” “Law” LaMonica Jr., 58, of Brockton, passed away on May 8, 2022 after a courageous 6 month battle with pancreatic cancer. A graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, Larry was a plumber by trade and a member of Plumbers and Gasfitters UA Local 12. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Larry was the beloved son of Carol (Lojko) LaMonica of Las Vegas, NV and Lawrence A. LaMonica Sr. of Brockton; cherished husband of Nancy J. (Hamel) LaMonica and the late Linda (Bulla) LaMonica, who passed in 2000; loving father of Kevin Rooney and Alexa, Lawrence A. LaMonica III and Bonny, Matthew S. LaMonica and Danielle, Robert L. Porazzo III and his fiancée Laura Cereghino, and Jason M. LaMonica; grandfather of Owen LaMonica, David “Jack” Johnson, Lily Rooney, Camden LaMonica, Domenic LaMonica, Dennis Rooney, and Rhys LaMonica; brother of Steven LaMonica and Liz, Lisa Routson, and Suzanne “Suzy” LaMonica-Karris and Mark; and a brother-in-law and uncle of many.

All are welcome to calling hours Sunday, May 15th from 12-5 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, his funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Monday, May 16th at 9:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery, 95 N. Cary St., Brockton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
