Laura V. (Ventura) Storms

Laura V. (Ventura) Storms, 101, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Jesus) Ventura. Laura had resided in New York City for many years until settling in Brockton, moving to Caffrey Towers where she made many lifelong friends.

Laura was the beloved mother of Paulette Buchanen, Archie Storms, Reggie Dorsey, and the late Antonia Fortenberry, Manuel Cruz and his widow Ellen Kutzner and the late Ronald Horton and his widow Frances; loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-greatgrandmother of many; sister of the late Aldina DeGrace, Marie Carr, John Ventura, Manuel Ventura, Mary Teixeira, and Jackie “Mickey” Ventura; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Saturday Sept. 17th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and her prayer service at 12 noon at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
