Laura L. Baker

Laura Lee (Russell) Baker, 58, of Randolph, Mass., passed away suddenly on August 12, 2026, at Boston Medical Center – South in Brockton, Mass. Laura was born in Boston, Mass., the daughter of Thomas E. Norton and Carol A. Russell.

Laura was a loving wife, devoted mother, and a truly caring person whose family meant everything to her. She leaves behind her loving husband, Andrew Baker, and her only child and the light of her life, her son, Daniel Baker.

Laura and Andrew were blessed to have known each other and shared their lives together for nearly 40 years. During those years, they built a life filled with love, memories, and a bond that grew stronger with time. Laura was not only Andrew's wife, but his best friend and the person with whom he shared so much of his life.

Laura was the kind of person who always put others before herself. If someone needed help, she was there. She had a generous heart and cared deeply about the people in her life, always giving so much of herself without ever expecting anything in return.

Above all else, Laura was a wonderful wife and mother. She treasured being a mother to Daniel, who was her pride and joy. Her love for her family was unconditional, and she gave them a lifetime of love, care, and devotion. Laura also found great happiness in one of life's simplest pleasures: reading. She loved to get lost in a good book and could spend hours reading. It was her favorite hobby and something that brought her comfort and joy throughout her life.

Laura's sudden passing has left an emptiness in our lives that words cannot truly describe.

Our hearts are terribly broken, and it is difficult to imagine our lives without her. After so much time spent knowing and loving her, it is impossible to imagine the world without Laura in it. Although Laura is no longer with us, the love she gave us will never leave. We will carry her memory with us every day, in our hearts and in all the little things that remind us of her. We will remember her kindness, her love for her family, her generous heart, and the happiness she found in the things she enjoyed.

Life will never be the same without Laura. She was our wife, our mother, our family, and one of the most important people in our lives. We are so grateful for every moment we were blessed to share with her. She will be loved, remembered, and missed now and forever.

We love you, Laura, and we always will.
