Kristine H. (Fowler) Goche

Kristine Helen (Fowler) Goche, 77, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. Born in Brockton to the late John and Dorothy (VanDeusen) Fowler, she was one of eight children and she graduated from Brockton High School in 1966. Kristine was know as Teeny to family and as Kris to many others. She was employed in various fields, as a meatwrapper at Shaw’s area supermarkets, as a nursing aide and medical assistant in local physicians’ offices and as a teacher aide for Brockton Public Schools. Kristine loved making people happy and also was an avid birdwatcher and roadtrip traveler (including to most of our national parks), and she enjoyed crocheting and crafts.

She was the beloved wife of Philip T. Goche for over 55 years, loving mother of Tammy Freitas and her husband Peter and dear grandmother of Brody and Cooper Freitas, all of Londonderry, New Hampshire; sister of Lalaine Saulenas and her husband Walter of Bridgewater, Kent Fowler and his wife Laura of North Andover, Donna Doten and her husband Wayne of Bridgewater, Larry Fowler and his wife Rosemary of Michigan, Charlene McQueeney and her husband Joe of Abington, Leona Johnson of East Bridgewater and the late Barbara Maxim and her husband Willis, now of East Wareham; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Thursday February 12th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton and her funeral gathering Friday February 13th at Waitt Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
