Kenneth F. Holmes

Kenneth F. Holmes, 87, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died February 9, 2021. A son of the late Carleton and Edna (Chubbuck) Holmes, he graduated from Brockton High School in 1951. Kenneth served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. A hardworking family man, he often worked seven days a week, retiring as a service manager from Electrocomm in Kingston. Kenneth was the husband of the late Ruth E. (Martin) Holmes; loving father of Richard “Scott” Holmes of Brockton, Susan Johansen and her husband James of East Bridgewater, Terry K. Fox and her husband Paul of Fairhaven, and Robert Holmes and his wife Nancy of North Easton; grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of many; brother of Marilyn Dunnington of Florida, Cheryl O’Donnell of Middleboro, William Holmes of Colorado, and the late George Holmes; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to his graveside service on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery, 483 N. Main St., West Bridgewater.
