Kathleen T. (Shea) Shaw

Kathleen T. (Shea) Shaw, 81, of Avon, passed away on August 19, 2025. A native of Dorchester, daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Waters) Shea, she moved to Avon in 1970. Kathleen was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston for 35 years until her retirement. She enjoyed sunny days, time spent at the beach, playing bingo, casino trips, and traveling.

Kathleen was the beloved wife of Robert B. Shaw; loving mother of Leanne Smith and her husband Mark of Brockton; cherished grandmother of Colleen Smith of Brockton; sister of the late Ann Francis; she also leaves nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to visitation on Saturday, August 23rd from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery, East Spring St., Avon.
