Kathleen P. (Finn) Bonaparte, 67, a current resident of Avon, passed away on December 21, 2021. Kathy grew up in Brockton and was a 1971 graduate of Brockton High School. Kathy worked as a teacher at Head Start, and she also worked at Christo’s Restaurant, before beginning her career at Crescent Credit Union. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother. She was adored by all. Kathy was a talented artist, her favorite time of year was Christmas, for she was able to share her art with those she loved and cared for, and sometimes she just loved to share it with those who were in need. She had a generous heart.
Kathleen was the beloved daughter of Mary J. (Gardner) Canavan and the late Edward F. Finn; and the cherished stepdaughter of the late Joseph F. Canavan; the loving wife of Peter A. Bonaparte for 22 years; adoring mother of Brian, Arthur, and Angelle Doten; beloved stepmother of Jessie Galeno, Erin Bonaparte, Adam Bonaparte, and Amy Morin; and loving Grammy to many grandchildren. She was the cherished sister of Gail M. Cripps and her husband Edward, both of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, of Lori A. Meyers and her husband Allyn of Tiverton, Rhode Island, of Donna Bronk of Wareham, and also her devoted brother Domenic Rosati of Hyde Park, and also a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to her memorial calling hours Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. with a 6 p.m. memorial service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.
