Karen E. (Shea) Crone

Karen Ellen (Shea) Crone, 76, of Avon, MA, passed peacefully on March 13, 2024, after an extended illness. She worked at General Dynamics until 1970 when she left to raise her family full time. Karen was an avid reader, as well as enjoying swimming in the backyard pool and entertaining friends and family. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Peter Crone Sr, her son Peter Crone Jr. and his wife Angela, her daughter Donna Crone, and grandchildren Shea and Elva.

All are welcome to calling hours Tues., March 19th from 3-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, her funeral Mass Wed., March 20th at 10:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 E. Main St., Brockton, and burial at St. Michael Cemetery, East Spring St., Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
