Judith M. O’Connor, 80, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away March 3, 2025. Born in Brockton, Judith graduated from Brockton High School and later on from Massasoit Community College. She was a medical laboratory technician at Good Samaritan Medical Center for many years until retirement. Judith lived in Cape Coral, Florida for the last 21 years where she enjoyed life and warmth and sun. She loved her pet dogs. Her daughter Mary Elizabeth “Mimi” Uhlman resided with her in recent years; she had been raised in Brockton and was a golf professional. Sadly Mimi passed away in 2022.
Judith was the wife of the late William J. O’Connor, beloved mother of Scott D. Uhlman, Brockton P.D., retired of Brockton and the late Mimi, sister of Kenneth Galligan, Brockton F.D. Chief retired of Brockton and the late Paul Galligan. Judith, Ken and Paul were raised together by her Mom and Ken’s Dad, Mary (Grady) Galligan and Frank Galligan.
All are welcome to gather and remember both Judith and Mimi together at calling hours on Friday March 14 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a brief prayer service at 11:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton followed by burial at Melrose Cemetery.
